Possible structures include a full acquisition, an acqui-hire in which Nvidia would hire staff and license technology, a further equity investment, or a deal to supply more chips and computing power. An agreement could be reached in the coming weeks, though the talks could still fall apart. Both companies declined to comment.</p><p>Nvidia has already invested $800 million and is one of Reflection’s largest shareholders. Reflection was last valued at $25 billion in a March funding round. It was founded in 2024 by former Google DeepMind researchers Misha Laskin and Ioannis Antonoglou. The company develops open-weight models aimed at coding and agentic work. </p><p>On October 5, Reflection unveiled Beam, its first open-weight model. Beam is a mixture-of-experts system with 501 billion total parameters and 23 billion active. The company says it matches or approaches Chinese models such as Z.ai’s GLM-5.2 on reasoning and coding benchmarks while using 3-4 times less inference compute. </p></text><analysis /><region /><search_query /><result_type />
<published_at /><credits>0.0090</credits><parent_id /><referenced_id /><created_at>2026-10-12T09:25:00.572896+00:00</created_at>

<tags><tag>nvidia</tag><tag>ai</tag></tags><media><media_item>

<alt>View image</alt><media_type /><file /><file_name /><file_ext /><created_at>2026-10-12T09:25:01.256261+00:00</created_at></media_item></media>

<handler>https://www.linkedin.com/in/guillermoflor/</handler><handler_name>Guillermo Flor</handler_name><external_id />
Microsoft just built a laptop that can run 120B+ parameter AI models locally. In what looks like a last hurrah, Jensen asked the board to approve an aggressive buyback program, bigger than anything Tim Cook's Apple has ever announced. Nvidia has released a plan to execute a total of $235 billion in buybacks through FY28. That's six quarters, or roughly $40 billion per quarter. Even if Nvidia doesn't end up using the full plan, it shows Jensen is ready to use whatever it has to support its stock. Will he succeed? Nvidia has over $279 billion in commitments as of July 26, 2026 (and that number will probably grow a lot more). Nvidia repurchased only $40 billion in FY26. Last quarter alone, it repurchased $20 billion. Dividends: around $12 billion. Free cash flow last quarter: $21.34 billion. A $40 billion quarterly buyback pace is nearly double last quarter's free cash flow, before dividends and before a single dollar of those commitments. On top of that, Nvidia needs more cash to support its SPVs (the neoclouds), Oracle and the labs. Jensen is going to fight with everything he has, and the market should be ready for more debt raising, and maybe even an equity offering, from Nvidia.</text><analysis /><region /><search_query /><result_type />
<published_at /><credits>0.0060</credits><parent_id /><referenced_id /><created_at>2026-09-29T09:17:36.038019+00:00</created_at>

<tags><tag>nvidia</tag><tag>stock</tag><tag>buyback</tag></tags><media><media_item>

<alt>Image</alt><media_type /><file /><file_name /><file_ext /><created_at>2026-09-29T09:17:36.368198+00:00</created_at></media_item></media>

<handler>https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathanroig/</handler><handler_name>Jonathan R.</handler_name><external_id />
AMD is CRUSHING NVIDIA over the PAST YEAR. 🔥AMD ha...
<text>AMD is CRUSHING NVIDIA over the PAST YEAR. 🔥AMD has surged nearly 300%, from about $158 to $631, while Nvidia gained just 32%, from $170 to $225.AMD’s 12-month RETURN is roughly 9x Nvidia’s.AMD also rose more than 2% in Friday premarket trading as tech stocks advanced, with Nasdaq futures up 0.55% and S&P 500 futures up 0.33%.The chipmaker recently crossed $1 TRILLION in market value, becoming the FOURTH U.S. chipmaker to reach the milestone after Nvidia, Broadcom and Micron.Source: Coin Bureau</text><analysis /><region /><search_query /><result_type />
<published_at /><credits>0.0050</credits><parent_id /><referenced_id /><created_at>2026-09-27T15:56:59.979917+00:00</created_at>

<tags><tag>amd</tag><tag>nvidia</tag><tag>coin-bureau</tag></tags><media><media_item>

<alt /><media_type>IMAGE</media_type><file>/media/content/1832/g-20260927-amd-vs-nvidia.jpg</file><file_name>g-20260927-amd-vs-nvidia.jpg</file_name><file_ext>jpg</file_ext><created_at>2026-09-27T16:16:53.637765+00:00</created_at></media_item></media>

<handler>https://www.linkedin.com/in/charles-henry-monchau-cfa-cmt-caia-4003096/</handler><handler_name>Charles-Henry Monchau, CFA, CMT, CAIA</handler_name><external_id />
The stock market loves Nvidia. The cost of insuring Nvidia’s debt against default has roughly doubled this year. SpaceX credit default swaps have approached 180 basis points. Both companies sold $25 billion of bonds in June, while hyperscalers are on track to spend more than $750 billion on data centers in 2026. Equity investors see growth, revenue and momentum. Credit investors are looking at the debt needed to fund it—and the returns required to repay it. Rising insurance costs do not mean a default is coming. But they do show that lenders are reassessing the risk. The stock price tells you how excited investors are about AI. Credit spreads tell you what financing that excitement costs. Its multiple recently hit its lowest level in more than a decade at less than 17 times profit expected over the next 12 months (see chart below). The multiple is half what the stock commanded in 2025, when Nvidia’s revenue and profit growth was slower, and down from more than 25 times earnings estimates as recently as May. The de-rating probably reflects a healthy dose of skepticism that the company’s current earnings power is sustainable.Perhaps the old adage that buying the biggest stock in benchmark indices is rarely a good idea, as its value has been fully recognized and the only way (at least relative to others) is down. That’s the approach suddenly being taken by Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and AI rivals Elon Musk and Sam Altman. It’s also the approach being taken by investors, who are dumping chip stocks and other AI plays to start the week. But it might be an overreaction to Amodei’s calls for a slowdown in the pace of artificial-intelligence development. Of course, we at Barron’s might be wrong as we were about SpaceX. The market’s flight to safety is unusual—go-to haven gold is falling and Treasury yields are unmoved, yet Bitcoin and software stocks are on track to be the day’s big winners. Nvidia stock is another left-field idea for a safer bet, it’s better placed than chip rivals if AI progress slows. On top of the tech turmoil, Brent crude prices have jumped to $107 a barrel after Saudi Arabia shut a key oil pipeline as fighting in the Middle East escalates. The 10-year Treasury yield is at 4.97%, and the Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates on Wednesday.</p></text><analysis /><region /><search_query /><result_type />
<published_at /><credits>0.0090</credits><parent_id /><referenced_id /><created_at>2026-09-14T11:52:40.320251+00:00</created_at>

<tags><tag>saudi-arabia</tag><tag>elon-musk</tag><tag>barron’s</tag><tag>nvidia</tag><tag>federal-reserve</tag><tag>spacex</tag><tag>sam-altman</tag><tag>dario-amodei</tag><tag>anthropic</tag></tags><media><media_item>

<alt>The Barron's Daily</alt><media_type /><file /><file_name /><file_ext /><created_at>2026-09-14T11:52:40.698783+00:00</created_at></media_item></media>

<handler>@DrEliDavid</handler><handler_name>Dr. Eli David</handler_name><external_id />
Co-founder and CTO of @huggingface, that was acqui...
<text>Co-founder and CTO of @huggingface, that was acquired by Nvidia 👇 Dario and Sam can slow down their own research as much as they want.</text><analysis /><region /><search_query /><result_type />
<published_at /><credits>0.0030</credits><parent_id /><referenced_id>663</referenced_id><created_at>2026-09-14T08:54:20.606689+00:00</created_at>

<tags><tag>huggingface</tag><tag>research</tag><tag>nvidia</tag></tags><media><media_item>

<alt>Down pointing backhand index</alt><media_type /><file /><file_name /><file_ext /><created_at>2026-09-14T08:54:20.953036+00:00</created_at></media_item></media>

<handler>https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-kobeissi-letter/</handler><handler_name>The Kobeissi Letter</handler_name><external_id />
BREAKING: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says Artificial ...
<text>BREAKING: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) has arrived.</text><analysis /><region /><search_query /><result_type />
<published_at /><credits>0.0040</credits><parent_id /><referenced_id /><created_at>2026-09-07T04:10:13.813788+00:00</created_at>

<tags><tag>artificial-general-intelligence</tag><tag>ceo</tag><tag>nvidia</tag></tags><media><media_item>

<alt /><media_type>IMAGE</media_type><file>/media/content/450/image.png</file><file_name>image.png</file_name><file_ext>png</file_ext><created_at>2026-09-07T04:10:44.378107+00:00</created_at></media_item></media>

<handler>@NVIDIARTXSpark</handler><handler_name>NVIDIA RTX Spark</handler_name><external_id />
Your devices are stronger together. 🖥️🤝🖥️ Just ann...
<text>Your devices are stronger together. 🖥️🤝🖥️ Just announced at IFA, NVIDIA PAIR automatically links systems across your local network and sends inference requests wherever there’s available capacity, helping agents run more efficiently.</text><analysis /><region /><search_query /><result_type />
<published_at /><credits>0.0040</credits><parent_id /><referenced_id /><created_at>2026-09-04T12:53:00.437527+00:00</created_at>

<tags><tag>nvidia</tag><tag>devices</tag><tag>ifa</tag></tags><media />

<handler>@GlobalMktObserv</handler><handler_name>Global Markets Investor</handler_name><external_id />
🔴Nvidia is trailing the very AI boom it's supposed...
<text>🔴Nvidia is trailing the very AI boom it's supposed to be powering: Nvidia, $NVDA, shares are up just ~20% over the last 12 months, the weakest performer among a group of AI-linked indices tracked by Bloomberg. Nvidia already dominates the chips, now it wants the place developers go to find, share, and run models. That gives it a powerful lever to keep those models optimized for its hardware right as rivals start designing their own silicon. The price is steep for the current business, but the strategic logic is clear: control the rails, not just the engines. The open-source AI world just got a very well-capitalized landlord.Source :</text><analysis /><region /><search_query /><result_type />
<published_at /><credits>0.0080</credits><parent_id /><referenced_id /><created_at>2026-08-29T06:08:02.139556+00:00</created_at>

<tags><tag>nvidia</tag></tags><media><media_item>

<alt>View image</alt><media_type /><file /><file_name /><file_ext /><created_at>2026-08-29T06:08:03.104152+00:00</created_at></media_item></media>

<handler>https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-kobeissi-letter/posts/</handler><handler_name>The Kobeissi Letter</handler_name><external_id />
BREAKING: Nvidia stock extends gains to over +8% o...
<text>BREAKING: Nvidia stock extends gains to over +8% on the day, now on track to add +$410 billion in market cap today.Nvidia is now on track to post the 3rd largest single-day market cap gain by a stock in history.</text><analysis /><region /><search_query /><result_type />
<published_at /><credits>0.0050</credits><parent_id /><referenced_id /><created_at>2026-08-27T16:14:38.779219+00:00</created_at>

<tags><tag>market-cap</tag><tag>nvidia</tag><tag>stock</tag></tags><media><media_item>

<alt>View image</alt><media_type /><file /><file_name /><file_ext /><created_at>2026-08-27T16:14:39.272637+00:00</created_at></media_item></media>

<handler>https://www.linkedin.com/in/anttipasila/</handler><handler_name>Antti Pasila</handler_name><external_id />
NVIDIA is buying Hugging Face - this is a much bigger deal than it seems ...
<text><p>This is a much bigger deal than it seems.
